Flower Bomb
Flower Bomb is the event that sets the Saint K world in motion. A mushroom cloud made of flowers gives us a beautiful image of something terrible. Each label returns to that event. We see it before impact, from inside the explosion, or in the strange afterward. The viewpoint changes. Everything else is the Saint K world fits around this moment.
The wine name "Flower Bomb" also found a home with us and Malvasia Bianca, a lesser-known grape with an “explosive” character we wanted in our flagship white wine.
2017
A nuclear mushroom cloud erupts in flowers, marking the event that forever changed the Saint K world. Our label artist Dane's first Flower Bomb captures the destruction that leaves the wasteland and the people living through it at the center of the story.

2018
A bleak, distorted dandelion carries the threat of what’s coming. The impact hasn’t been felt yet, and there’s little comfort in the flower itself. This version catches the world just before things get worse.

2019
Deformed daisies become the flowers of the aftermath. Inspired by images known as the Fukushima daisies, our artist Dane Curley imagined life growing back in a form that feels unsettling and unfamiliar. Flower Bomb’s consequences have reached the things that still grow.

2020
A top-down view, the explosion opens outward beneath us. Label artist Dane Curley brings us into the shape of the blast itself, with the flowers spreading from the center. It is another view of the event that changed everything.

2021
Flower Bomb becomes a repeating pattern. Made during the monotony of COVID, the artwork reflects on the feeling of doing and seeing the same things again and again. The image of destruction settles into an almost ordinary rhythm.

2022
Earth becomes the bomb, its continents made of flowers and a fuse waiting to be lit. An early idea from Dane Curley finally made it onto the bottle during the end of the COVID years, when tensions were high and the world felt like it wanted to blow itself up.

2023
A blast of a bouquet of flowers. The burst gives Flower Bomb a more immediate, physical form, bringing its uneasy mix of beauty and violence down to something we can hold.

2025
The bomb is still falling. This version returns to the moment just before impact, when the world as it was is about to disappear.
